I can summarize my experience with the Lady Gaga live concert in Malmö with only one word. LOVE Sooooo much energy and talent at one place blowed us all away. A fabulous performance…
Now to a fabulous wine instead. The release of Jordan Chardonnay 2009 got me smiling all the way back to South Africa. Outside Stellenbosch, Gary and Kathy Jordan have been producing wine since 1993. He a geologist and she an economist makes a perfect combination together with a unique soil to produce excellent Chardonnay. I had the privilege to stay close to their wineyard a couple of years ago. And luckily I went up on top of the hill to taste the wines and especially loved the Chardonnay that in my mind is top of the top in South Africa chard-team. The best of them all was the Nine yards Chardonnay, a creamy citrus and mineral driven wine really for my kind of taste.
Now in November 2010 the standard version Chardonnay is released in Sweden. And it´s everything else than standard. Drinking this great and price worthy wine absolutely reminds me of the Nine yards. All the minerals and citrus together with the creamy hazelnut taste is filling my mouth with sensation. I have to congratulate the Jordan family for producing this excellent wine. Its an honor to welcome your wine back to our dining table and a case more in the cellar(the storing potential is great).
Freshlyground is a South African Afro-fusion that was formed in 2002. The band members come from South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe and they have won the South African Music Award. Cheers
